Trump falsely claimed that President Joe Biden's administration oversaw the highest inflation “in the history of our country”. While the year-over-year inflation rate under Biden reached a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022, this is not close to the all-time record of 23.7% set in 1920. Additionally, the cumulative inflation during Biden's presidency was about 21%, significantly lower than during President Jimmy Carter's term (around 49%).

If you want to get to a really adventurous trek, start your own protest! It doesn't matter whether it's five people or 100,000.
