Livin' in Connecticut!

Bridgeport, CT

ezs note:  If you live in Connecticut, I'd love it if you could take a few minutes to ewrite your state Representative and your state Senator to expand commuter rail between Hartford and  Waterbury.  Just take a few minutes to read the flyer that I wrote, and if you feel so moved, write these people an email.

If you live outside of Connecticut, but have a friend who lives there, please tell them.  Once again, thanks.

ezs note:  I ran across Rev. Ed Trevors and got a breath of fresh air.  Most of what passes off as 'Christianity' is pure crap.  We may not see every line side to side (he is a [real] Christian, I am a Baha'i), but, geez, this guy is good. I'll do my bit to promote him.

By the way, if you're free on Saturday nights, Ed broadcasts live on most Saturday nights at 8 pm (Eastern time).  Look for :

Ben Ferencz - 1920 - 2023

ezs note:  You can be forgiven if, after so many years, the life of Ben Ferencz  is a blur to you.  However, you should know now.  He was born in Ciolt, Şomcuta Mare, but at age 10 he came with his parents to the United States.  Despite his parents' speaking very little English, he graduated high school  as valedictorian. He went on to Harvard, but with Pearl Harbor happening, he immediately joined the Army.  When the war was over, he was the lead prosecutor for the Einsatzgruppen trial, held in Nuremburg, Germany.

However, it was after the trial that he truly made our lives bearable.  He spent the remainder of his life advocating for a) peace, and b) the dignity of every life - including transgender lives.

He died on April 7, 2023.  His life's work will always be remembred,  Thank you, Ben.
