ezs note: This is the full text Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. What is particularly important is how the term "sex" is used throughout the document. The US Court of Appeals in Manhattan decided that 'lesbian', 'gay', 'bisexual', and most important to our readers, 'transgender' are an appropriate use for the term "sex". Please read the entire document, if you have the time.
