If Mr, Rotner is correct, there are three things you can do.  First - and absolutely most important - get that vile Trump out of office.  Second, if you have a Republican senator,  vote for a Democrat.  Third,  if you have a Republican House member, vote for a Democrat. And don't forget!!!
