ezs note:  As much as we tend our focus on New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto or Montreal, this is NOT where all the action is!  Sometimes little Kelliher (pop. 368) does the trick!  No matter where you live, you can make the difference - if you've got the guts to say your peace.

ezs note:  Geez - this MUST stop!  Here are some things we can ALL do to make our lives happier:  1)  Especially if you live in one of the cities or towns where a city or town has occurred,  be on the lookout!  Don't date total strangers.  If at all possible, walk home with a TRUSTED friend.  If this is impossible, make your route a well-lighted one.  2)  If you live in a city or town where an incident has occurred, or you travel through such an area, and you know information, please call!  3)  For the most part, priests, ministers, and rabbis are your friends.  Ask them nicely to defuse any violent action by firmly denouncing such activities.
