ezs note:  Well, in Connecticut, we had our State Of The State 'shindig'.  And more than ever, did Ned Lamont ever undeliver.  He was breathtakingly vanilla.  

First, he decided to pull a zinger by referring to Canada as the '51st state'. Oh, how yuks abound.  Problem is, there are many good people in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and throughout Canada who feel perfectly comfortable with their country.  Except Donald Trump.  And you.

Second, the LGBT community feels royally stiffed by your utter wordlessness.  It's an utter slap in the face.

Ned, I liked ya, but you better get your act together.  Or resign TODAY.
