archive - Adam's Word newsletter (October 1989)
This is a new feature of feature. It contains features culled from Digital Transgender Archive, a Boston-based archive. It is NOT strictly Boston-based, however - it is worldwide. I'm starting off in Connecticut (my home state) then move to various other states. To a lesser extent, worldwide ephemera will be covered also. It is my hope that, as time goes on, you and I will gain a deeper experience of transgender life.

238 Trans People Murdered Worldwide In The Past Year

ezs note: 238 people. That's a lot of people.
But think about it for a minute. No listing for Russia. No listing for China. No listing for Mongolia. No listing for all of Africa! And the list goes on.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, this has nothing to do with some sort of transgender paradise. If you add the unreported countries, and then add those countries who are reporting,but have police who are uncaring, my guess would be well over 1,000 innocent PEOPLE.
In the meantime, for those whose names are listed, I ask you to do one thing:
REMEMBER!!
