ezs note:  This is a rather compelling pair of articles.  However, if you read one, I strongly suggest that you read the other.  Jesse Singal's piece is at https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/07/when-a-child-says-shes-trans/561749/.

When you read both, I hope you will reach an informed decision.  IMHO, while much of Singal writes is thoroughly discredited, there are other parts which Ford stretches... ahem... a bit. But I dunno.  What do you think?
