ezs note: I ran across Matt Baume quite by accident, but it was quite fortunate. He broadcasts 2-4 times a week, mainly (but not solely) about government affairs in the local and national fields about LGBTQ problems - and practical ways to solve them. They're not terribly long - the average is about 3 to 5 minutes in length. But they're very entertaining, very pithy, and most importantly, very practical. I will be putting them on irregularly (think of dice). Hope they help you!
ezs note: OK, I'm a liberal. Sometimes, a bleedin' heart type. I read a wide variety though, and among these is George Will. Mr. Will is showing forth his finest hour when he rips into Trump. Kudos to you, George.
ezs note: So, this town needed a name. In my opinion, they could not have picked a better one - Winthrop, Washington. You see, they named it after Maj. Theodore Woolsey Winthrop, Yale graduate and an ardent abolitionist. When the Civil War broke out, he (of course) volunteered. Sadly, he was killed early. Winthrop was named after him - and the rest of us thank him.
